Getting started overview | The College Drupal Distribution

1. Request

Sign up for a new site or migration at https://thecollege.asu.edu/site-request. We will create a new Drupal dev site and send you the link.

2. Build

Build your site on the dev environment or migrate it from an existing site. The College can help with the migrate process. At this point, you could also involve vendors to help build the site. Please make sure they understand how to customize The College Drupal distribution before starting the project. They may need to take a different approach than they are used to.

3. Launch

Let us know when you are ready to launch your site. We will send you the SLA agreement and handle the launch process. Hosting fees are included in the SLA. It can take about 1-2 weeks to fully launch the site, so plan ahead in case of a hard deadline.

4. Support

You can manage your content, add and remove pages, or work with third parties to implement advanced designs. The College web team will make sure the site is running smoothly with regular updates, security remediations and bug fixes. If you run into any problems with the site, you are covered!
